Researchers use RRIDs to boost reproducibility in papers

Between September 16–20, 2026, peer-reviewed journals published six papers in biology and neuroscience that included Research Resource Identifiers (RRIDs) in their methods sections. Papers appeared in Journal of Cell Science, Journal of Neuroscience, Cell Biochemistry and Function, Neuron, Communications Chemistry, and The EMBO Journal.
