Wave heights will slowly decrease through the afternoon hours, with Swim Risk decreasing from High to Moderate. Thus, the Beach Hazards Statement will be allowed to expire. Moderate Swim Risk conditions will remain in place for Sheboygan and Ozaukee counties until early this evening.
Winds have begun to turn offshore, and waves are slowly decreasing. A few lingering waves to around 5 ft may be present further offshore in the nearshore zones (particularly east of Sheboygan county), but those will gradually drop off over the next few hours.
