South Korea and U.S. Strengthen Diplomatic and Security Ties

South Korea and the United States held multiple diplomatic engagements between September 10–11, 2026, including foreign ministerial talks, defense discussions on North Korea's weapons of mass destruction, and a public diplomacy forum on Global South cooperation. South Korea also announced plans to host its first Central Asia summit focused on critical minerals and supply chain cooperation.
