I'd forgotten about this: https:// bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrep ort.cgi?bug=773557 A policy change request (by someone else) for Debian based on some of my research. I think the lesson that needs to be taken away is that whilst my debian-policy bug may attract the odd voice inside of Debian, that really, this will only get solved by people doing the heavy lifting. Policy standardises consensus r
