South Korea, US, Japan plan Freedom Edge military drills

South Korea, the United States, and Japan announced plans to conduct the Freedom Edge trilateral military exercises from September 7–11, 2026, according to South Korean military officials on August 28. The joint drills represent continued security coordination among the three allied nations.
