Cliff horses removed after century-long grazing dispute

On 21 August 2026, horses were removed from Rhossili Common on the Gower Peninsula in Wales after more than 100 years of grazing following months of disagreement over grazing rights. The decision ended a long-standing arrangement on the clifftop common.
