Shell reported one of its strongest quarterly results since 2022 after oil, gas and LNG prices rose during the war involving Iran and energy-market volatility boosted trading. Adjusted earnings, Shell’s measure of net profit, reached $9.84 billion in the second quarter, above a company-provided analyst consensus of $8.92 billion and more than double the $4.26 billion reported a year earlier [energ
